Alice creates her own wonderland

Almost every one of us has “Alice in Wonderland” as a major part of our growing up. It’s all about landing on the planet of your dreams. And following that path might seem easy in a story book, but life brings forward all kinds of struggles and challenges when we try chasing our dreams in real life. For some, challenges make them strong enough to fade away the hurdles. And those are the very few, who have the strength to follow the path less travelled.

Neti Jolly, Owner, XOXO

Neti Jolly is the owner of the clothing line XOXO. She is from New Delhi and is a Delhi University graduate. Her fashion journey started from National Institute of Fashion Technology, from where she did her post-graduation in Fashion Management.

From past five months, she is giving her blood and bones to her brand, which is a pret-a-porter western wear brand for fashion conscious women. Neti explains XOXO as a very trendy colorful
fashionable brand , for women who are not afraid to experiment. She gets inspired from life and surroundings.

XOXO is a part of major retail stores in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad. It is also a famous name in the media too, as it has been featured in the major newspapers and television channels. The brand has its achievement in a dress that was worn by
Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarette. XOXO was even featured in the Bata print ad campaign in all leading newspapers and magazines.

Presently, Xoxo has various tie-ups with online portals like,  Fashion And You, Brandmile, 3closets, and pret-amoda. The next on Neti’s mind is exporting her garments as an International label.

Neha Sahai, Owner, Neha Sahai

Neha Sahai, was always a girl next door. Being born and brought up in Allahabad, she had hobbies like,  reading and travelling. It was National Institute of Fashion Technology, which transformed her into an owner of an accessory label, by her own name, Neha Sahai, which is into business for past ten months.

Neha, who is a dropped out of business school, always dreamt of being part of the change that fashion needed, hoping for a time where chic, vintage, feminine and street styles all came together in the perfect packages. Thus, she rolled up her sleeves and started her venture with fashion accessories, as category. Ask her, and she says, these accessories work for a quiet Sunday brunch to an evening around town, with your summer shorts and flip-flops or your LBD. A mix of the contemporary and the classical with a generous dollop of eccentricity that one just can’t miss.

Neha Sahai has fifteen stores, across India, which sells fashion accessory pieces like, Brooches, Scarves, Earrings, Metal Clutches etc. It has been a name in leading magazines and newspapers like, Marie Claire, Grazia and Mid Day.

Neha, who aims at Lakme Fashion Week, and dreams of becoming the biggest fashion accessory label, gets inspired by designer Raakesh Agarvwal, and her father, Mr. Prem Kumar.


Nimisha Soni, Owner, 'Awesome' – Contemporary Clothing

Nimisha Soni is born and brought up in the city of Udaipur, with her traditional values and culture being her best friends always. It was when this commerce graduate went to National Institute of Fashion Technology, for her Masters in Fashion Management, that her entrepreneurial instincts got proper wings. And today, she is a proud owner of Awesome- Contemporary Clothing, which is known for its traditional Indian designs.

Ask Nimisha, and she laughs out, “Awseome is just my twin soul- All Awesome.” But on a serious note she says, Awesome- Contemporary Clothing is a boutique that offers customized services in women garments. It reflects the mood of a contemporary woman, who loves her traditions. Now in business for almost two years ACC is doing fair business in the city and attracts customers from the neighboring places too.

ACC deals 150-200 customers every month. It is gaining prestigious fame in the category of Haute Couture garments, where in, Bridal Trousseaus and Indian Formal Wear being the bestsellers.

Nimisha, who is known for her excellent dancing skills, gets inspired from her mother. She says that the major inspiration in her life are the people who disbelieved in her as they inspired her to work harder and prove them wrong. With this conviction, ACC plans to open its branch in Ahmedabad with its new range in kids wear.
