NYE’14: Soulful Soiree
Winters have really made me lazy. Freezing temperatures and festive season; I really don’t understand how this combination is exciting. But it was New Year’s Eve and thankfully it was not as cold as it always has been on a 31st December that I had decided to attend a get together.
The plan was to go for an evening coffee, then a long drive around the town and finally we all had awesome dinner.
It was a sunnier (I don’t know yet if this word exists) day so I knew that finally my new Avirate baby is going to be out from the wardrobe.
This wiggle dress with peasant style bodice is a perfect one for me, as my personal style is slightly away from something ‘too girly’. And this dress served the purpose of being an evening wear and something to wear for a formal dinner.
I really like the black rose it has as a brooch on left shoulder. It gives the dress a party feel.
I completed the look with a pair of silver danglers and my nude peep-toes. The red clutch bag was adding the required brightness to the look.
During the dinner, it was colder. So I added a tan shade Bikers’ to the look. Unfortunately I was so engrossed in the food and wishing everyone a Happy New Year, that I don’t have a picture for that look.
Probably next time! J
Till then, stay tuned to Blah and More! Have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2015.
XOXO!
