Clutchin’ it pretty with Suede by Devina Juneja

Before starting this post I’d like to share a very special and probably the best news ever; that I am a Bua, a fresh one, to the cutest and the most lovely munchkin nephew. He’s just awesome and I am already super attached to my ‘laddoo’. Well, that’s not his name. His parents have named him Koehav, meaning ‘Star’ and I am sure about him being a star once he grows up. 

Life’s running at the speed of a jet plane. Wish I could write the same for my hair, which has a slightly longer version of bob cut. I wanted to wear a saree for my munchkin’s naming ceremony but couldn’t find the courage enough to wear the same with the kind of hairstyle I am adorning these days.

As said rightly in the fashion industry, “You wear your attitude and not clothes”, I too wore my attitude with my confident smile and of course, a Rani Pink Maheshwari Chanderi saree with a chanderi cotton black blouse in Chinese collar (designed by me). The sleek golden borders, both on the saree and the blouse, make my attire just apt for Indian style events.

I teamed up my attire with Rajasthani Polki Gold Earrings and a metallic cuff to add the required bling.

Now all that was needed was a bag. Sarees do not leave much option when it comes to handbags. I chose this bronze metallic cow leather clutch bag from Suede by Devina Juneja.

Not only this clutch is spacious enough to carry my world along, it is super easy to clutch it under my arm or to even hold it in my hand. The weave is extra-ordinarily classy and gives a sophisticated bling to the look. Made in 100% cow leather, this two fold clutch comes with a secure zip closure and an inside leather lining. Now people who, like me, aren’t a big fan of shine, this clutch bag does justice to your Indian party look.

It comes with a cloth cover to keep it safe when not in use. The cover has the beautiful logo of the designer and is washable easily, if fell prey to dust or dirt.

Well, that’s how I styled myself for an Indian family event. Do share your views on the look in the comment box below.

See you soon with another styling story!
