Ahoy Spring! Let’s roll up the sleeves! Feat. Goli Darzi
There is a little warmth in the air, but the comforters are still very much a part of our beds. Jackets and quilts are back resting in the winter closets, but our knits are still here to embrace us. We know it's the favourite season of the year; Awesome Spring.
I know how desperate we all are to start exploring our summer wardrobe but the little chill in the weather still needs a cover-up. And silk jackets are here for our rescue. They are warm enough for this season especially during evenings when the air plays cool. And are not so thick to be worn in fall and winters.
One such jacket I found while exploring my close friend and an awesome designer Pankaj Arora's Goli Darzi collection. Golden beige raw silk fabric beautifully structured into a blazer style jacket which has floral embroidery in resham thread in pretty hues of orange and pink in the front.
I chose a georgette clinched waist shift dress to attend a Sunday brunch with bestie. I knew it'd be a little late in the evening and hence I had to carry something as a cover-up. And this jacket gelled up pretty with the entire look. It gave a slight glam-up look to a regular dress.
Pankaj Arora aka Goli Darzi is a popular name in today's fashion era. Shift dresses, lehengas, evening maxi gowns, jackets and fuller skirts; you name it and the brand does justice to your style statement. If you are looking for Indian contemporary style, Goli Darzi is the name.
NOTE: This piece was penned down in February however, I couldn't find out time due to moving and relocating
