The Latest Fashion Bible: The Juice
Fashion magazines are fashion bloggers’ fiction novels. No matter how busy a blogger is and be it a place as lame as a Seven Eleven store to get your mobile prepaid top-ups, a fashion magazine rack always gives a glittery twinkle to our eyes.
This happened to me while I was too busy packing up for my Singapore trip that a copy of ‘The Juice’ by Jabong got delivered to me. I was glad for 3 reasons majorly. One, it was a surprise. Two, it was a fashion magazine. And three, it is usually not available at a routine magazine vendor, though has an online version.
Keeping the copy in my baggage, I decided to give it enough time only in Singapore. So here I am with this ‘a little different’ fashion bible.
Matt-ify Fashion: The first thing that it did to me was breaking the cliché that fashion magazines are always glossy. The pages can have a matt effect and still can be termed as a Fashion Mag. After all, we believe in breaking the ‘conventional’. A little smaller in size, this ‘baby’ is way bigger in terms of content.
Let’s get Real: What does one expect while flipping through the pages of a fashion mag? Glamour, gloss and loads of ‘going gaga’ about designers and ramps across! But what everyone forgets is that the retail sector is an extended version of ramp. And especially e-retailers, where we find a really sorted and comfortable amalgamation of both the fashion ends; ramp and retail. This mag ponders upon this very concept of fashion. Being a stylish brain child of ‘Jabong’ team, this one of course talks about the best categories on the portal with fashion and style intervened together. Affordable and real fashion; what an interesting ‘Juice’ 😉

Right from Jabong’s very own team featuring themselves as style models, to ‘strangers’ posing for the shutterbugs while on expedition; this mag is full of inspiration.
